**Aerospace Quality Associate**

**Shift: 7AM-3:30PM**
**Job Description**
The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing production processes by implementing corrective actions, reducing defects, and ensuring compliance with quality requirements. You will engage in complex engineering and production challenges, significantly contributing to the continuous improvement of our quality management system, products, and production system.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead problem-solving initiatives by analyzing defect data.
+ Support production changes through detailed analysis.
+ Identify and implement improvements in quality and production processes as well as product designs.
+ Address customer complaints effectively.
+ Lead cross-functional teams on Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and defect reduction efforts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with the SWISS Portal for Boeing.
+ Proficiency in working with 8D methodologies.
+ Experience in filling out Boeing corrective action reports and analyzing corrective actions.
+ Must have Aerospace Corrective action experience.
+ Analytical skills to quickly identify problems and their causes.
+ Critical thinking for innovative solutions and improvements.
+ Attention to detail for quality systems creation and problem reporting.
+ Strong numerical and statistical analysis skills.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
+ Ability to work collaboratively within quality teams and with other departments.
+ In-depth knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Any certifications within Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) are advantageous.
+ 2+ years of manufacturing quality assurance experience required, preferably in a build-to-spec manufacturing environment.
+ Experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
+ Proficient in using PC and software applications.
+ Advanced mathematical skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and personnel management skills.
+ Experience with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and compression gauges.

**Work Environment**
Work in a Boeing Aerospace Certified Rubber Compression Molding environment where we mold a variety of parts, ranging from small components to large pieces up to 144” long and 48” wide at 100 psi. We specialize in using diverse materials, including organic rubber, silicone compounds, polypropylene, polystyrene, and polyurethane. Our Client is AS-9100 and AS-9102 certified. The role operates on a day shift from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
