Job Title: Aerospace Painter

Job Description

As a Painter, you will be responsible for painting all components in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual. This includes prepping and removing damage, taping areas where paint will not be applied, and applying primer and topcoat. You will also maintain records of paint room consumables, ensuring their shelf life is tracked, and keep all required tooling and safety equipment in good condition.

Responsibilities

Repair damage to all components prior to painting.Prep and paint all components in accordance with the Component Maintenance Manual and customer requests.Maintain all tooling and safety equipment related to the paint room.Maintain records of all consumables used in the paint room.Track inventory of all consumables used in the paint room.Ensure the shelf life of all required consumables is maintained.Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime as required and approved. The work environment is indoors, equipped with swamp coolers and fans. The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, using hands, reaching with arms, and occasionally sitting, climbing, or balancing. You will need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly. Safety glasses and safety shoes are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
