You’ll contribute to cutting-edge advancements in radio communication technologies, enhancing data reliability and efficiency. Gain hands-on experience in machine learning, signal processing, and computer vision within the aerospace domain, while collaborating with a team of skilled engineers, data scientists, and domain experts. This role offers a hybrid schedule with the expectation that you will be in-person at least 3-4 days a week at our Sterling, VA location. **Responsibilities:** + Develop and refine machine learning models to automatically detect and classify artifacts in radio communications used in aerospace applications + Design and implement algorithms and feature engineering techniques to identify statistical signatures in bit streams + Establish a robust testing framework with performance metrics to validate the accuracy of detection + Develop a Python library containing models and thorough documentation for identification + Implement computer vision approaches for trajectory visualization and pattern recognition in aerospace communications + Develop machine learning models to predict missing parameters and identify flight behaviors based on communication data + Create an interactive analysis toolkit with specialized applications for aircraft tracking and performance analysis + Provide clear and detailed documentation for all developed models, algorithms, and tools + Conduct rigorous testing and validation of all implemented solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy + Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and domain experts, to integrate solutions into existing systems + Prepare and present regular progress reports and findings to stakeholders + Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and aerospace communication to continuously improve project outcomes **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future + Basic proficiency in Python and a willingness to learn and improve + Familiarity with MATLAB or similar software and a willingness to learn + Interest in computer vision and visualization techniques + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail + Good analytical and critical thinking abilities + Effective communication skills + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team _Desired:_ + Prior experience or coursework in machine learning, signal processing, or aerospace communication is a plus + Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies + Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, but not required + Previous internship/co-op or other work experience - **_________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
