**Job Title: Support Engineer II** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will manage expected turnaround times, adhere to quality control policies, and conduct necessary calibrations and maintenance. You will identify and resolve issues that may impact test performance and collaborate with engineering teams on production hardware and manufacturing processes. This position requires adapting to schedule changes and responding to emergencies while ensuring compliance with safety standards. **Responsibilities** + Manage expected turnaround time per workstation. + Adhere to quality control policies and document activities. + Conduct instrument and procedural calibrations and required maintenance. + Identify and correct problems affecting test performance or notify supervisors. + Adapt to unexpected schedule changes and respond to emergencies. + Support process work, review output for quality, and ensure adherence to standards. + Participate in daily team meetings and end-of-shift reporting. + Coordinate efforts to minimize production interruptions. + Support safety standards and ensure team compliance. + Build and test subsystems following blueprints and work instructions. **Essential Skills** + Aircraft Powerplant certification/license or automotive/technical certifications. + Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and drawings. + Experience with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements. + Experience with MES software packages. + Ability to rapidly change roles and responsibilities in a high-paced environment. + Effective teamwork skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + 1 year of relevant aerospace or automotive manufacturing experience. + 1 year of hands-on work with electro-mechanical assemblies. + Experience with precision torque measurement and inspection devices. + Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your technical expertise and commitment to quality will positively impact team metrics and organizational goals. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6/7 AM to 4/5 PM. **Job Type & Location** **This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
