Job Description: Overview The digital experience team is seeking a highly skilled UI Software Engineer to join our global scrum team. This role will focus on developing user interfaces for high-impact initiatives, including an agentic AI assistant initiative. The ideal candidate will be a senior developer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality solutions independently. Responsibilities + Interpret Figma designs and convert them into functional templates and UI components + Collaborate with design, product management, and technical analyst teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables + Develop accessible, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions for Cisco.com and related platforms + Configure policies and workflows as needed within the system + Integrate and leverage AI assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex) to enhance productivity and code quality + Participate in scrum ceremonies and collaborate with a global team across multiple time zones + Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices for global web applications + Work independently with guidance from architectural frameworks, delivering on agreed timelines Required Qualifications + 7+ years of experience as a senior UI/front-end developer + Strong proficiency in HTML, TypeScript, ES modules, and modern front-end frameworks + Hands‐on experience with AEM Core Components building policies and templates, extending components using Sling Models/HTL, creating Content Fragment Models, integrating with REST/GraphQL, and enforcing best practices for versioning, caching, and localization + Experience working in monorepo environments + Familiarity with accessibility standards and keyboard interaction models + Ability to work with Figma and translate design specifications into production-ready code + Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration during design handoffs and clarifications + Experience leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex) in day-to-day development Preferred Qualifications + Exposure to global web applications and distributed teams
