The Opportunity: The Advisor, Corporate Affairs, Business Partnering supports coordination and delivery of stakeholder engagement and communications activities partnered with ADSS operational units that support the strategic objectives of the organisation. The role plays an important part in shaping and protecting the company’s reputation, brand, and relationships with key stakeholders. This role provides proactive hands-on assistance and guidance, by fostering strong relationships and maintaining open lines of communication, the Advisor ensures that stakeholders are well-informed and equipped to manage corporate affairs initiatives. This is a permanent full-time opportunity and can be based in either Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth. The successful candidate must be eligible to hold a AGSVA security clearance. Responsibilities: + Develop and deliver internal and external communication plans aligned with business objectives + Create high-quality written and digital content across multiple channels including social media, media releases, website, video, speeches and internal communications + Support internal communications to drive employee engagement and alignment + Collaborate with internal KBR operating units to understand communication needs and produce effective materials + Translate complex and technical information into clear, engaging and audience-appropriate content + Support brand, market positioning and campaign delivery, ensuring consistency with KBR’s visual and written style guides + Monitor the media, geo-political and public policy environment to identify potential business impacts + Assist bids and proposals with content review, strategic messaging, executive summaries and win themes + Maintain and contribute to communication and marketing asset repositories, including case studies and standard materials + Manage priorities to meet deadlines, comply with internal processes and support broader growth, marketing and communications activities As the ideal candidate you will bring: + 5+ years in corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, or government relations or proven relevant competency + Experience working with senior executives and external stakeholders. + Exceptional written and verbal communication. + Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. + Project management and multitasking under pressure. + Proficiency in digital platforms and content creation tools.
