Overview and Responsibilities: The Free Press team is seeking a strategic and analytical leader to oversee the execution, optimization, and strategic improvement of digital advertising campaigns. This role requires a strong focus on operational efficiency, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration. The right person for this role is willing to take on new challenges, has strong communication skills, and confidence in a fast paced environment.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Partner with Sales, Product & Finance to ensure smooth campaign hand-offs, pricing rules, responsible for updating and maintaining accurate inventory projections and technical feasibility • Develop frameworks for monitoring KPIs, budgets, pacing; identifying risks early and working with Sales to mitigate under-delivery or overspend • Manage trafficking, campaign delivery actualization, optimization, and reporting of digital ad campaigns for multiple publisher clients across audio & newsletters • Lead initiatives to implement new tools, processes, and best practices to optimize operations and increase scalability • Ensure accurate implementation of campaign elements including launches, ad creative, and tracking pixels • Monitor campaign performance metrics to identify anomalies or areas for optimization • Manage campaign pacing, adjusting as needed to ensure campaign budgets deliver in full and client KPIs are being met • Maintain and stay current on industry news and research • Pro-actively analyze and improve processes to attain efficiency • Work closely with finance on invoicing and billing to ensure revenue is earned and accounted for   Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, advertising operations, or a related field   Additional Qualifications: • Programmatic is a plus but not required • Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that drive operational efficiency and scalability • Ability to manage numerous simultaneous campaigns and prioritize issues • Strong operational and analytical skills: building workflows, working with tags, troubleshooting discrepancies, reporting and managing KPIs • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and mentor junior team members

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $125,000.00 - 150,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
