About Pearson
Pearson is an ed tech company whose mission is to have a direct relationship with millions of lifelong learners. As the world’s learning company with more than 18,000 employees operating in 70 countries, we provide content, assessment, and digital services to learners, educational institutions, employers, governments and other partners globally. We are committed to helping equip learners with the skills they need to enhance their world of opportunities. We believe that wherever learning flourishes so do people.
The Role
Pearson is building the future of AI-enabled education, and we need exceptional visual designers to help us get there. As a Sr Visual Designer on the Design Systems team, you'll play a critical role in establishing our unified design system across Pearson's Higher Education product portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to design at the foundational level—creating the visual language, components, and patterns that will shape how millions of learners and educators interact with our products.
In this role, you'll work at the intersection of visual design excellence and systematic thinking. You'll design high-fidelity components and interfaces that balance aesthetic sophistication with scalability, ensuring every interaction feels purposeful and every screen reflects visual consistency. Your work will directly influence product teams across Pearson as they build the next generation of learning experiences in an increasingly AI-native landscape.
This isn't about iterating on existing patterns—it's about reimagining what educational technology can look like when design systems thinking meets modern visual craft. If you're energized by the challenge of creating reusable, flexible design components that maintain their quality across diverse contexts, this role offers the creative scope and strategic impact you're looking for.
