Austin Industrial is currently seeking an **Advanced Rigger** to join our staff located at **Pasadena, TX.** This person will ensure the safe execution of all lifting and rigging operations on site. Other duties may be assigned. **Specific Duties and Responsibilities:** + Execute lifting and rigging tasks in accordance with site-specific lifting plans and safety procedures. + Ensure all lifting operations comply with relevant legislation and plants company standards. + Assist maintenance teams with the removal and refitting of mechanical equipment and plant components. + Inspect and maintain rigging loft equipment and keep accurate records. + Ensure plant lifting equipment meets the current lifting equipment colour codes. + Conduct pre-use/after-use inspections or rigging gear and lifting equipment. + Work safely in challenging environments, including at height, in confined spaces and near live plant and equipment. + Identify and mitigate risks associated with lifting operations. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Physical Demands:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
