Northrop Grumman is looking for you to join the Advanced Program Team as a Principal/ Sr. Principal Modeling Simulation and Analysis Engineer located in Huntsville, Alabama and may offer a competitive relocation package
The selected candidate will be responsible for development and analysis of campaign simulations as well as contributing to the team's development efforts in Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM). They will also be responsible for providing guidance on implementing best practices, tools, methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operational analyses and Systems Engineering processes. They will also be responsible for developing materials and presenting to internal and external stakeholders. The selected candidate will be flexible to changing priorities of the business unit and adapt as necessary to accomplish business unit objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
Principal Modeling Simulation and Analysis Engineer (Level 3): 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD. An Additional 4 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.Senior Principal Modeling Simulation and Analysis Engineer (Level 4): 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. An Additional 4 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.2+ years of experience modeling new capabilities into a team's modeled scenario in Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM)2+ years of experience with Object Oriented Simulation2+ years of proven experience using AFSIM to support modeling and simulation effortsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with campaign-level modeling and simulationExperience with multi-resolution conceptual model development, verification, and validation processes to develop simulations to address questions on military operationsExperience with relevant Operation Analysis Tools: AFSIM, CFAM, STORM, COSAGEFamiliar with team collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Github, etc.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to maintain cooperative working relationships with existing and prospective stakeholdersStrong communication skills to clearly present technical approaches and findings to a variety of audiencesAbility to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project resultsPosition Benefits:

Salary Range: $98,600.00 - $196,700.00Salary Range 2: $0.00 - $0.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
