What You Bring to the Table

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited programCurrent Missouri license as a Registered Professional NurseGraduate of a Nurse Practitioner program with active certificationSpecialty certification (as required by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice)Active Collaborative Practice Arrangement with our organizationCurrent BCLS (Basic Life Support) certificationACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, where required by the department – and must keep it current3–5 years of relevant clinical experience (bonus points for leadership experience!)Proven clinical expertise in your area of specialtyStrong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Physician Assistant (PA)

Are you a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) who is ready to deliver high-quality care under the guidance of collaborative physicians? As a Physician Assistant (PA), you’ll provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services, working closely with patients and the healthcare team to provide effective and efficient care. You’ll assess and treat patients, order and interpret tests, make diagnoses, and offer preventive advice—all while ensuring the highest standards of care.

What You’ll Do:

Patient Care: Take medical histories, examine patients, make diagnoses, and treat injuries or illnesses under the supervision of a physician.Comprehensive Services: Order and interpret lab tests and x-rays, counsel patients, and provide treatments or therapies as per physician agreement.Documentation & Records: Accurately document patient evaluations, care plans, and services provided in the medical record.Collaboration: Work closely with physicians to deliver exceptional healthcare and ensure the best outcomes for every patient.

What You Need to Bring:

Education: Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.Certification: Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.Licensure: Current licensure in the state of Missouri.Experience: 1-3 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant (PA).Certification: Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
