**Job Description**
As an APRN, you’ll deliver expert, compassionate care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Working closely with physicians and a collaborative care team, you’ll assess patients, diagnose conditions, create treatment plans, and provide both physical and psychiatric care. This role also includes occasional on-call duties and coverage beyond your primary area when needed.
You’ll bring advanced skills in mental health, health promotion, patient education, and medical management—making a meaningful impact every day.
**Qualifications & Skills**
+ Master’s in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
+ Active RN license in Missouri and Nurse Practitioner certification
+ Specialty certification (as required by Missouri Board of Nursing)
+ Active Collaborative Practice Agreement
+ Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification
+ 3–5 years of clinical experience (preferably in mental health or primary care)
+ Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
+ Leadership ability and team-oriented mindset
+ Excellent communication skills across diverse populations
+ Commitment to working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness
+ Ability to manage challenging patient behavior with empathy and professionalism
+ Aligned with TMC’s mission and values
