Sentara is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated Cardiology team at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This full-time position offers a rewarding balance of inpatient and outpatient care, allowing you to collaborate closely with our physicians in the hospital setting while managing patients independently in the clinic.

Position Highlights

Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (1–2 days in office)

Inpatient care at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center

Outpatient clinic with independent patient management

Average patient panel of 15 per day

Weekend rotation: 1 in 5 weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 7:00–11:00 a.m.)

Rotating call schedule (nights, phone only – not in person)

Duties include general follow-ups and new patient visits
