Summary

JOB SUMMARY: Manages cardiovascular and surgical critically ill patients immediately post procedure and/or requiring intensive care services in collaboration with CV Intensivist and Attending physicians. Provides continuity of care management until discharge.Supports patient care for technical procedures. Collaborates with cardia surgeon and surgery attending to develop or modify plans for optimal, cost-effective and high quality patient care. Identifies discharge planning needs for patients in order to ensure comprehensive discharge support.    REQUIREMENTS: ICU, Cardiac ICU or SICU expereience prefered.  Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner-acute care trained 3-5 years of experience Maryland Registered Nurse License, active NCCPA Certification (PA) Maryland CDS License and DEA License Active American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certifications, Active AANC or AANP Certification (NP)   #APP
