Job DescriptionWe're Hiring: Advanced Practice Specialty Nurse – GI

About the Role:

Do you geek out over gut health? Do endoscopies, capsule studies, and complex GI cases spark your clinical curiosity? If you're a highly skilled, motivated Nurse Practitioner who’s passionate about all things GI, we want you on our team!

As our Advanced Practice Specialty Nurse – GI, you’ll work alongside top-tier gastroenterologists and a dynamic care team to deliver advanced, compassionate care to patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. You'll assess, diagnose, treat, and follow patients using your expertise—and even assist in procedures under physician supervision. In short: You’ll be a GI game-changer.

What You’ll Do:

Be a clinical leader in GI care—manage patients with GI dysfunction and disease across inpatient and/or outpatient settings

Collaborate with physicians and specialists to create and carry out treatment plans

Perform assessments, order diagnostics, and initiate evidence-based interventions

Assist with or perform specific diagnostic/interventional GI procedures (with supervision)

Provide education and support to patients and families

Help shape and elevate the standard of GI care in our organization

What You Bring:

MSN from an accredited nursing program

Active RN license in Missouri

Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC, AANP, etc.)

Missouri certification for Advanced Practice (if required)

Current Collaborative Practice Agreement

BCLS certification

Clinical expertise in GI or a strong interest in developing it

3–5 years of hands-on nursing experience

Leadership chops and the ability to thrive in a team

3–5 years of gastroenterology-specific experience

Advanced education in GI diseases, treatments, and patient management

Experience in endoscopy, colonoscopy, or other GI procedures
