Your new role

As our new Advanced Development Engineer your key technical responsibility is to ensure the development of Primary Packaging systems, components, and related documentation such as specifications, drawings, test documentation and safety risk management documents.

 

Your work tasks will include:

Development of primary packaging systems for parenteral administration, such as vials/cartridges.   Ensure that technical documentation is ready for submission  Coordinate and collaborate with with external suppliers/manufacturers Driving change requests and participate in systematic problem-solving

 

Your new department       

You will join the Primary Packaging Development Department situated in Final Product Development & Manufacturing (FPDM), a business unit within the global CMC & PS organization and located in Hillerød in the greater Copenhagen area. The unit consists of project management, engineering, and technical functions covering all necessary competencies to manage a diverse portfolio of drug/combination product and device projects. You will be part of an organization of highly skilled people — maybe the best in the industry. . You will join a team of highly skilled and ambitious development engineers working closely with our specialists and project managers, all of whom are dedicated to developing and implementing primary packaging solutions in Novo Nordisk.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:

You hold an academic degree, e.g., M.Sc./B.Sc. in Engineering/ Pharmacy with minimum 3 years of experience from a similar job or a job in a similar area. You have experience in regulatory requirements and standards for primary packaging. You have knowledge within safety risk management, requirement engineering and/or medical device development Experience working in a GMP environment andtraining in Lean methodologies is preferred. Fluency in both written and spoken English.

 

As a person you are analytical and systematic with a strong quality mindset. You communicate effectively and manage stakeholders with ease, staying structured and proactive as you handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. You meet deadlines reliably and remain focused on delivering high-quality results.
