1 year maternity cover position for Analytical Professional in Analytical Competence Centre, AMSAT Novo Nordisk

Are you a chemist with strong experience in analytical methods such as UPLC/HPLC, cryoscopy, and macroscopy? Do you want to lead analytical method transfers for diabetes, obesity, and rare disease products—ensuring training for laboratory personnel across Novo Nordisk QC sites and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and preparing the necessary transfer documentation? Your new role

We are seeking an Analytical Professional to cover a maternity leave in the Analytical Method Transfer team. In this central role, you will work closely with experienced colleagues to coordinate and execute analytical method transfers. Key responsibilities include:

Planning and coordinating transfer activities to QC laboratories at Novo Nordisk and CMOs, worldwide Delivering training in analytical methods to QC laboratory personnel at Novo Nordisk and CMOs Preparing transfer documentation (protocols, reports) and external records, and analysing comparative study data Interacting with stakeholders from various cultural backgrounds Sparring with chemists and Analytical Project Managers regarding new analytical methods transfer Assuring that we operate in compliance with GMP standards

 

The primary analytical methods are HPLC/UPLC, and we also work with pH, mass spectrometry, and various Container Closure Integrity (CCI) methods. You will join a team of about seven skilled and dedicated chemists and laboratory technicians. Here you will work in an open environment that values professionalism and fosters a strong sense of community, with colleagues who support one another. About the department

The Analytical Competence Centre (ACC) is a department within Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology (AMSAT) with approximately 85 employees organized into six teams. We play a central role in Novo Nordisk's QC laboratories for both new and marketed products. Our primary objectives are the validation and optimization of chemical, biological, and physical analytical methods, along with method standardization, transfer, and global support to internal and external QC laboratories across Aseptic Manufacturing (AM). We own the analytical frame methods and also perform scouting, development, and validation of Container Closure Integrity (CCI) methods.

 

Skills and qualifications

You hold a scientific degree (e.g., chemical engineer, cand.pharm., cand.scient., or equivalent) You have practical experience as a chemist working with analytical methods such as UPLC/HPLC in a GMP environment. Experience with Container Closure Integrity (CCI) equipment is an advantage. You communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
