The Lerner Research Institute is at the forefront of discovery, with our scientists working to uncover novel biological pathways and develop new medical devices, diagnostics and therapies for cancer, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, brain and eye diseases and diseases of the inflammation and immune systems. As an Administrative Program Coordinator on our team, your work directly assists in the coordination and development of innovative policies and improvement initiatives. Serving as a liaison across various departments, you will identify opportunities to facilitate an efficient workplace where fellow caregivers can support patients and deliver world-class treatments.

A caregiver in this role works days from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (flexible start/end times)

This position offers a possible hybrid option after the 90-day new-hire period, with one remote day per week.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

With guidance from the Director, lead or coordinate multiple projects and policy initiatives.

Update, monitor and manage databases.

Develop scorecards and milestones to track progress.

Analyze project improvement and progress.

Report on discrepancies and variances.

Coordinate project prioritization and assist with policy and initiative implementation.

Assist with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of meetings.

Attend meetings and record key outcomes.

Support all office administrative functions.

Develop and maintain updates.

Manage multiple trainee schedules and documentation of visas.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Associate's Degree and two years of administrative experience or customer service

OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience

OR Bachelor’s Degree 

Computer skills and experience with software applications

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field 

Healthcare experience or related organization 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

In some locations, ability to lift up to 25 pounds
