**About the Paid Leave Division:**
Paid Leave is a new program that launched January 1, 2026. The program provides partial wage replacement to Minnesota workers that are out of work due to a qualifying condition such as a serious health condition that prevents you from working, or when you need time to care for a family member or a new child.
We have built a program that is easy for every Minnesotan to use. We are engaging the people who depend on us: workers, employers, caregivers, and insurers, to learn from them and continue to improve the program around what they need. We are using modern delivery service and product practices to deliver the program.
The Paid Leave team has high standards and an unrelenting commitment to serving Minnesotans. It is a start-up environment without legacy systems or preconceived ways of working. Our aim is to deliver a service that delights Minnesotans.
**Position Purpose:**
The Administrative Operations Support Supervisor oversees administrative staff supporting Document Services and Appeals while managing operational projects to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely service delivery. These teams provide critical support to Paid Leave Operations including the Contact Center, Claims Adjudication, and Program Integrity, and are responsible for new processes that require ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Team Supervision:** Supervise the day-to-day tasks and operation of the Paid Leave Administrative Operations Support team. Assigning and prioritizing daily job duties, determining workflow and work schedules to meet program needs, and determine development opportunities for staff.
+ **Quality Assurance and Compliance:** Lead the quality assurance of day-to-day operations of Administrative Operations Support staff including task completion in accordance with Paid Leave program integrity and compliance standards and address deficiencies by implementing corrective actions as needed in a timely manner.
+ **Program Development and Process Improvement:** Lead and coordinate administrative projects, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables align with division goals. Continuous improvement is at the center of Administrative Services, and as the program continues to build, the need for adaptability will be paramount.
+ **Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:** Serve as the daily point of contact on operational tasks. Work closely with the Manager of Administrative Services to ensure that requests, questions, and concerns are addressed effectively and delegate requests to the appropriate level of authority as needed.
+ **Culture Building:** Build respectful, collaborative relationships while promoting problem-solving, adaptability, and an inclusive workspace that meets the needs of all employees.
This position will be based out of the St. Paul office.

Two (2) years of experience supervising or leading a team in administrative support functions developing organizational processes and workflows to meet division goals.
Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following:
+ Experience leading and coordinating projects,managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables align with division goals.
+ Experience managing administrative programs including coordination and execution to achieve program goals and objectives.
+ Experience evaluating program/division processes to recommend and implement approaches and solutions.
+ Knowledge of the principles and current best practices for administrative operations, financial functions, and resource management.
+ Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, communicating effectively between a diverse set of internal stakeholders.
+ Ability to lead staff sufficiently to meet established timetables, quality standards and achieve high-quality performance.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Skill in leadership practices such as collaboration, goal setting, workload management, and building morale.
+ Experience in a start-up environment where roles will evolve over time based on the needs of the organization.
+ Skill in navigating local, state, and/or federal government systems including policies and procedures.
