Physician Office | Kettering | Full-Time | First Shift

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Administrative Director provides oversight and leadership within a specific service line.  Establishes and ensures achievement of the organization’s strategic objective and leads strategic efforts for the service line(s). Provides Operational support as well as Fiscal data for Service Line Physicians, Service Line Advance Practice Providers (APP), Operation Administrators, Practice Managers and the Medical Group Executive Team.  In collaboration with Service Line Medical Directors, ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies. Leads and participates in Process Improvement activities including creation of policy and procedure formation for guiding and supporting the provisions of the service. Serves as Medical Group Operations representative for Kettering Health initiatives.

 

The Administrative Director is responsible for the daily operations of designated care delivery locations within a specific service line.  Currently, the service line Director has shared oversight (three Directors split) for Primary Care which includes 60+ primary care offices, six On Demand locations, two Urgent Cares, two Residency Ambulatory sites, two Pediatric locations, four Rural Health locations, and three Years Ahead 65+ locations. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Master’s Degree preferred in Health Care, Nursing and or Business

 

Experience:

8 years’ experience, three of which in a leadership role

 

Dyad Leader for primary Care & Urgent Care Services:

             Primary Care Service Line (UCC) Goals & Objectives

             Operational, Fiscal and Clinical leadership for Service Line Physicians, APPs & staff

             Co-chair Primary Care Council

 Strategic Planning:

              Partners with key stakeholders in developing a strategic plan, implementation plans, and market strategies for region.

              Has ability to inform, influence and provide sound rationale to physicians in recommending strategic change.

              Engages project team in the implementation of new services to promote accessible care.

Financial Management:

             Assumes overall accountability for financial performance of practices across the region. 

             Improve value of care delivery

Regulatory - Meet & exceed all regulatory benchmarks, measures and standards for Health Plans, Board of Pharmacy & CMS.

Policy and Procedure - Uphold and regularly review policy and procedures.  Work directly with service recovery, legal and physician leadership as needed for patient concerns.

Team Creation and Development:

            Coaching and mentorship for physicians, APPs and staff

            Participates in and champions the recruitment process for management, provider, and staff positions identifying candidates that demonstrate professionalism and cultural fit.

            Maximize operational workflow in practices and ambulatory sites to ensure optimal comprehensive utilization of the team, ensuring the care team aligns and supports network strategies including population health and ACO initiatives 

            Builds and leads to sustain a culture, which promotes innovation, teamwork, and customer service excellence. 

            Provide direct supervision, support. mentorship, and performance evaluations to primary care operation administrators.  

           Work with specialty service line leaders to ensure a strong referral network which may include incorporating specialty services within primary care locations.   

Community Outreach - Operationally support community outreach endeavors including operational support for near site and onsite corporate clinics. 

Patient Quality and Care Experience - In collaboration with Patient Care, Population Heath and Quality Leadership, aligns and implements quality improvement and performance programs. 

Process Improvement - Facilitate &/or participate in process improvement activities that align with strategic framework goal to simplify healthcare.
