Job Title: Administrative Coordinator
Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing subcontractor prequalification information, building strong business relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring the seamless flow of communication and data within our organization.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain subcontractor prequalification information.Develop and sustain positive business relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.Contact subcontractors and provide assistance as needed during the prequalification process.Keep updated on subcontractor information submissions and oversee annual renewals.Actively communicate with subcontractors to obtain required prequalification documents and information promptly.Inform preconstruction, estimating, and project teams about the status of prequalification updates.Coordinate and follow up with business units, project teams, and subcontractors for contact information and missing or inaccurate data.Assist subcontractors and business units with system troubleshooting and inquiries.Evaluate and maintain subcontractor prequalification status.Attend meetings with preconstruction and operations teams to provide subcontractor prequalification information as needed.Complete other responsibilities as assigned.Essential SkillsAdministrative support experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience in subcontractor management.Knowledge of preconstruction and vendor management.Two years of business or secretarial school, or equivalent training and experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn specific software.Working knowledge of general office procedures and office machines.Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner and business writing skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in construction is preferred.Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite with the team five days a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
