Ranked 37 among national universities, Boston College has 923 full-time and 1,336 FTE faculty, 2,822 non-faculty employees, an operating budget of $1.4 billion, and an endowment in excess of $3.9 billion. **Job Description** The Office of the Carroll School Dean seeks an Administrative Assistant who will provide administrative support to both the Dean and Associate Dean of Finance and Administration. Duties: General correspondence, information, and reception; including phone, email, and walk-in traffic (students, faculty, visitors) Prepare all departmental/school teaching, course evaluations and trend reports Design and maintain comprehensive data analytics including grade distribution reports for all faculty and departments (semester basis), faculty performance metrics, and trend analysis across evaluation periods Plan and coordinate special school wide events Respond to general inquiries and communications for Dean's office Manage office supplies/speaker gifts/sporting event tickets, P Card, reconciliations, and other general office tasks Assist with coordination of CSOM Commencement and Awards Ceremony (as needed) Update Carroll School space planning annual inventory of offices; place work orders as needed; coordinate office moves/space planning projects; key inventory Update faculty and staff directories; update email lists (google groups) as needed Special projects as needed Hiring Range: $25.60hr to $34.30/hr. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience. **Requirements** Bachelors degree and 3-5 years office experience. Strong data management and analytical skills required; experience with Excel, databases, and data reporting essential. Experience working in higher education is preferred. Excellent customer service orientation, excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, good decision making/problem solving skills.
