The Administrative Assistant provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support that enables CCPA leadership and staff to operate efficiently in a high-tempo headquarters environment. Serving as organizational anchors, they manage schedules, correspondence, records, and logistics so Public Affairs, planning, and media personnel can focus on mission execution. This role operates within established headquarters processes and information systems, ensuring administrative actions are accurate, timely, and aligned with USCENTCOM requirements without creating friction for Government staff. Primary responsibilities include:
+ Provides direct administrative support to CCPA leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and task tracking.
+ Prepares, formats, and distributes read-ahead packages, briefing materials, correspondence, and internal staff products in accordance with command standards.
+ Coordinates meetings, working groups, and senior leader engagements, including room scheduling, virtual meeting setup, and attendee management.
+ Manages travel coordination and documentation for CCPA personnel, including preparation and processing of travel actions in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
+ Maintains accurate records management, distribution lists, personnel rosters, and administrative files in compliance with USCENTCOM policies.
+ Serves as a central point of contact for internal and external administrative inquiries, ensuring timely routing and response.
+ Supports event planning and execution for CCPA-sponsored activities, conferences, and engagements, providing on-site or virtual administrative support as required.
+ Ensures administrative continuity during surge operations, leadership transitions, and periods of increased operational tempo.
