Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role requires someone with a strong background in office administration and a keen eye for detail, especially in a construction company setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry and be comfortable with 20-25 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

Generate, customize, oversee, and monitor invoices using QuickBooks.Assist in documentation and tracking of invoice submittal statuses using multiple online platforms.Maintain multiple hard copy files, ensuring proper statuses are used.File documents throughout the day and arrange electronic files.Follow up on multiple tasks and ensure deadlines are met.Address and respond promptly to inquiries from various clients.Communicate effectively in a team environment.Take notes during meetings and training sessions for future reference.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of office experience, preferably in a construction company.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong customer service skills.Computer savvy with good data entry skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction industry.Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not required.Recent high school, college, or vocational school graduates are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment

This is a part-time position, requiring 20-25 hours per week. The role involves working in a collaborative team environment, with a focus on efficiently managing administrative tasks. The dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Hyde Park, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
