Administrative Assistant
Qualifications: + 2-3+ years of recent administrative experience. + Data entry proficiency. + Strong customer service skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Experience with purchase orders. + Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment. Job Description We are seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to greet and welcome visitors. You will be responsible for answering and directing phone calls to appropriate departments, with a majority directed to the service department. You will also manage purchase orders, which is the most crucial part of the role, along with handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Maintaining a clean and organized reception area and assisting with administrative tasks as needed are also part of your duties. Responsibilities + Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner. + Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments, with 80% directed to the service department. + Manage purchase orders. + Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages. + Maintain a clean and organized reception area. + Assist with administrative tasks as needed. Work Environment You will be working in an office of approximately 10 people, managing the front desk area. The work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role offers a lot of independent work once you are trained, making it suitable for someone who prefers to work at their own pace without micromanagement. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
