Administrative Assistant
Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description The administrative assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the company. You will manage incoming phone calls and filing tasks, averaging between 5 to 10 calls on busy days. You will also greet customers who arrive at the front desk, typically 4 to 5 per day. Your responsibilities will include receiving purchase orders and accurately entering them into the system. You will support the sales team by ensuring sales orders are correctly entered and reviewing product recipients. Additionally, you will communicate lead times with both clients and internal staff. Experience with QuickBooks is not required, but you will be using it in your role. Responsibilities + Assist with phone calls and filing, averaging 5 to 10 calls per busy day. + Greet and assist customers at the front desk, handling 4 to 5 visitors daily. + Receive and accurately enter purchase orders into the system. + Support the sales team by ensuring sales orders are correctly entered. + Review product recipients and communicate lead times with clients and internal staff. Essential Skills + 1 year of administrative experience. + Strong computer skills. + Effective people skills. + Outgoing personality. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in administrative support. + Knowledge of administration processes. Work Environment You will be working at the front desk, providing administrative support in a dynamic and customer-facing environment. The company offers a commission to all involved in the process, with the current administrative assistant earning $500 a month. Full-time employees receive 100% paid health insurance, and 50% for dependents. The work schedule is flexible, offering one Friday off per month if 30-minute lunches are taken.
