Administrative Assistant
Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description This entry-level advisor position involves supporting either future students or active students. Advisors assigned to future students focus on preparing them to start school, while those supporting active students ensure they have the necessary support during their education. The role includes tasks such as calling students, confirming paperwork, entering data into systems, and completing various assignments as directed. Responsibilities + Provide administrative support to either future or active students. + Prepare future students to begin their educational journey. + Ensure active students receive ongoing support during their studies. + Make phone calls to students and potential students. + Confirm and manage student paperwork. + Enter data accurately into the system. + Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors. Essential Skills + Experience in administrative assistance. + Bachelor's Degree. + Bilingual proficiency in Spanish. + Strong customer service skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and email management. + Experience in documentation control and filing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in financial aid (preferred but not required). + Pro-active and can-do mentality. + Ability to take initiative. + Professional and personable demeanor. + Experience in call centers and handling phone calls. Work Environment This position is on-site with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM onwards, with potential flexibility in hours. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where professional attire is expected. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
