+ **Title: Administrative Assistant**
+ **Location: Hybrid, Building 8 Redmond, WA**
+ **Duration: 5 months (High Possibility for an extension after the budget approval)**
+ **Onsite Requirement: 4–5 days per week**
+ **Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, potential overtime (approval required prior to working OT)**
+ **Pay Rate Range: $25 to $29/hr**
**Candidate Requirements**
+ **Experience:** 2–4 years overall administrative experience (preferably in tech).
+ **Education/Certifications:** None specifically required.
+ **Disqualifiers:** Job-hopping will be considered a red flag.
+ **Ideal Candidate Profile:** Prior experience in adjacent administrative roles, preferably in tech.
+ **Performance Indicators:** Ability to produce high-quality work and keep pace in a rapidly moving environment.
**Top Hard Skills Required**
1. **2+ years experience in the tech industry.**
2. **2+ years experience in calendar management/scheduling.**
3. **2+ years experience using Slack.**
4. **2+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite.**
**Role Responsibilities**
Performs complex administrative functions for all levels of management, including external partners. Responsibilities include:
+ Managing schedules/calendars for two engineers.
+ Coordinating travel arrangements (domestic; 1–2 times per month).
+ Processing business expenses.
+ Planning and supporting team events (e.g., dinners, morale events, large meetings).
+ Supporting meetups in Redmond every 6–8 weeks.
+ Coordinating department operations: financials, personnel, facilities.
+ Managing procurement of goods/services (e.g., office supplies, equipment).
+ Acting as point of contact for department inquiries.
+ Supporting a team of ~65 people.
+ Completing special projects as assigned.
**Additional Skill Expectations**
+ **Excel Skills:** Standard proficiency (not advanced; pivot tables/VLOOKUP not required).
+ **Event Planning:** Required, including coordination of team dinners and offsite meetups.
