ADAS Software Engineer
Description • Overview • We are seeking a highly skilled ADAS Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate software for prototype Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), covering the full stack from perception to control • Key Responsibilities • Develop and integrate software components and algorithms for ADAS prototypes • Test and validate algorithms in simulation and real-world environments • Collaborate with team of researchers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration • Required Qualifications • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python • Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development (academic or industry) • Solid foundation in algorithms, software design principles, and efficient implementation • Hands-on experience with automotive or robotics software, including ROS and CARLA or similar automotive simulators. • Preferred Qualifications • Experience integrating hardware and software systems • Familiarity with real-time systems and performance optimization • Experience working within an Agile development framework • Knowledge of deep learning, computer vision, planning, control and data analysis • Education • Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Computer Science, or a related discipline • Bachelor’s degree acceptable for exceptional candidates or those with significant industry experience --- Skills Embedded software, C++, C/c++, Software development Top Skills Details Embedded software,C++ Additional Skills & Qualifications • Strong Python and C++ programming, will do coding test in interview • ADAS/Autonomous, CARLA (Car Learning to Act- open source simulator for developing ADAS systems), Deep Learning • Some hands on vehicle work for testing SW and debugging issues • 70% SW development/coding, 30% testing • 8/10 skills in Python, 7/10 in C++ • CAN knowledge • ADAS and or robotics/ experience with perceptions systems • OpenCV • Must have experience implementing algorithms/ robotic or ADAS related algoritms Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Warren, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
