About the Role:
Resurrection Medical Center – Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - Nocturnist to join our inpatient care team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional care to acutely ill patients while working collaboratively with a strong multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive inpatient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Central line placement
• Endotracheal intubation
• Additional procedures based on credentialing
• Manage admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and clinical best practices
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Acute Care NP certification (ACNP-BC or ACNPC-AG)
• Active Illinois RN and APRN licenses (or ability to obtain)
• Required: BLS & ACLS
• Experience in acute inpatient settings required

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
