Actuarial Assistant Manager, Actuarial Consulting Group
_We are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our Actuarial Consulting Group team within our MBPS Actuarial Function as an_ **_Actuarial Assistant Manager_** _. Established in 2012, the team has become an actuarial center of excellence, with over 200 staff and growing, along with increasing range and ownership of deliverables, specializing in Valuation, Liability and Asset Modelling, Experience Analytics, Pricing, and more._ _MBPS Actuarial offers a wide range of global opportunities across multiple actuarial disciplines, a high performing culture, a market leading actuarial development program, a job rotation program, and a leadership team dedicated to your growth and success._ **Position Responsibilities:** + Execute strategic projects and provide comprehensive support to these identified stakeholders + Enhance training and development of new actuarial students joining the team by strategically assigning them relevant short-term projects that would provide them with pertinent work experience alongside their actuarial exams + Provide opportunities for more experienced actuarial students/actuaries joining the team to expand their skills or further hone their existing ones + Assist in operationalizing and scaling the ACG function by systematically developing and maintaining processes for the identification of strategic projects, as well as the onboarding, deployment, development, and offboarding of actuarial talent joining the team + Assist in identifying strategic projects and areas within MBPS where the ACG team can be a beneficial resource, and in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to discuss and agree on deliverables and deployment details **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field + At least 7 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services + Associate designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP), with meaningful progress towards Fellowship. + Strong interpersonal skills and high EQ, to engage effectively with various stakeholders horizontally and vertically, build relationships and quickly establish trust. + Strong ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, for self and others. + **_Amenable to work UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)_** + **_Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)_** **When you join our team:** + We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. + We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words. + As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see. **Acerca de Manulife y John Hancock** Manulife Financial Corporation es un importante proveedor internacional de servicios financieros que ayuda a las personas a tomar decisiones de una manera más fácil y a vivir mejor.
