Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Chesterfield, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational abilities and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate collection of payments. • Handle commercial collections, maintaining effective communication with clients to resolve payment discrepancies. • Process and apply cash payments accurately to appropriate accounts. • Collaborate with the billing department to ensure invoices are correctly generated and distributed. • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts. • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements related to receivables. • Perform general accounting tasks to support overall financial operations. • Coordinate with accounts payable teams to maintain accurate records of transactions. • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate smooth financial operations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles. • Proficiency in handling commercial collections and cash applications. • Strong knowledge of billing functions and accounts payable processes. • Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management. • Proficiency in relevant accounting software or tools.
