We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions and maintaining positive customer relationships. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and other internal teams to manage daily cash applications and customer accounts with precision.
ResponsibilitiesProcess daily cash applications, including ACH payments, credit card transactions, and check deposits.Record and reconcile daily ACH activity with a high level of accuracy.Scan, deposit, and record customer checks in a timely manner.Process customer payments via ACH and credit card.Review and set up new customer accounts.Review accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers as needed.Monitor and respond to AR-related email requests.Maintain and update customer account information to ensure accuracy.Assist the Accounting Manager with additional accounts receivable tasks as needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience.Proven ability to accurately apply ACH, check, and credit card payments.Comfortable handling daily transactional volume.Ability to reconcile payments to invoices and customer accounts.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Quickbooks, Canopy, fixed asset management, loan statements, and ERP systems.Proven experience with high-volume cash application processing.Knowledge of basic cash controls and timeliness requirements.Ability to write clear, professional AR emails.Work EnvironmentJoin a growing company with a family feel and a supportive work culture. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
