The AR Specialist will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable and ensuring the effective collection of outstanding invoices. This position requires proactive problem-solving skills to reduce occurrences of deductions and past due invoices while maintaining professional relationships with customers and internal business partners.
ResponsibilitiesResearch and determine root causes for deductions and/or past due invoices to prevent future occurrences.Contact customers and internal business partners to gather information related to the collection of outstanding accounts receivable.Provide regular analysis of customer account status and updates to management.Review orders on hold/release report and take necessary actions.Prepare weekly worklists for collection activities and generate ad hoc reports as needed.Monitor daily incoming cash receipts, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers for effective collection management.Identify trends proactively and assist in implementing process improvements.Collaborate with sales management and customer service management to ensure professionalism and customer service in resolving outstanding issues.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, including collections or deductions.High School Diploma.Strong communication skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.Experience with collections, invoicing, accounts payable, receivables, aging report, deduction, and SAP.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a corporate accounts receivable environment.SAP experience preferred.Work EnvironmentThe position is fully on-site with a business casual dress code.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
