Accounts Receivable Specialist needed in Deerfield Beach! This is an URGENT need and will move quickly!

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves processing customer credits and rebates, performing cash applications, and handling deductions and problem invoices from retail customers. You will work closely with our accounting staff to match and remove items on the aging report and follow up on short paid invoices. Your ability to analyze repayment on retail chargeback items and identify trends related to payment refusals will be crucial in improving our operations.

ResponsibilitiesProcess customer credits and rebates.Perform cash applications.Download monthly deductions and problem invoices from retail customers.Link, dispute, and reconcile accounts.Collaborate with accounting staff to match and remove items on the aging report.Reconcile cash applications for inter-company transactions.Follow up on short paid invoices for retail customers.Work with sales/customer service to resolve service-related issues.Ensure deductions are followed through until closed.Analyze repayment on retail chargeback items.Compare deductions with fill rate data to identify areas of improvement.Identify and communicate problematic trends related to payment refusals.Perform various analyses as requested by management.Additional Skills & Qualifications2-3 years of experience in AR or as an accounting clerk.Experience working with credit memos.Work Environment

The work environment offers a flexible start time between 8-9 am, providing an opportunity to work with a large company dealing with high volume transactions. The role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth operations and improvements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
