Job Title: Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist
Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading medical device and supplies company. As an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist, you will join the AR Team during an exciting growth phase, providing a dynamic environment for professional development. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting or Finance and be seeking a career path in this field. A hands-on experience through an internship or early contract role is desirable.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in cleaning up the backlog of Accounts Receivable invoices.Follow up with escalated accounts to ensure payment of past due balances.Process and print copies of invoices for 50-100 customers.Perform ad hoc Excel tasks, including the creation of charts, graphs, data manipulation, and subtotaling of customers' financial information.Essential SkillsProficiency in Excel, particularly vlookups and pivot tables.Degree in Accounting or Finance.Hands-on experience in accounts receivable through an internship or early contract role.Additional Skills & QualificationsCustomer-oriented approach.Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is a major plus.Experience in a corporate environment.Work Environment

The position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days in the office each week. Working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM, supporting California customers. The team consists of 11 members, with 7 in the AR/Collections role. The company is in a growth stage, providing opportunities for career advancement beyond the collections role. Employees can expect mentorship from the leadership team and participate in the development of new corporate structures and frameworks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
