Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and post daily customer payments to their respective accounts. This role involves processing various payment types, such as checks, ACH, and credit cards, as well as handling customer credit card transactions and submitting customer invoices via portal and email.
Responsibilities
+ Post daily customer payments to their respective accounts accurately.
+ Process various payment types including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
+ Submit customer invoices via portal and email.
+ Process customer credit memos efficiently.
+ Perform other related duties as requested.
Essential Skills
+ Strong knowledge of accounts receivable or general accounting practices.
+ Proficiency in invoice processing, payment processing, and posting payments.
+ Experience navigating and inputting data in an ERP system.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience scanning checks for deposit is a plus.
+ Knowledge of Excel is a plus.
+ Ability to work accurately and independently.
+ Good verbal and writing skills.
+ Versatility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Work Environment
The work environment is easy-going and team-oriented, consisting of a small team of three members: one person in accounts receivable, one in accounts payable, and the VP of Finance and Accounting Manager. The work is transactional in nature.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Camarillo, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
