Job Title: Collections Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Collections Associate to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of accounts receivable and collections tasks, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

ResponsibilitiesPromptly address customer inquiries, both verbal and written.Evaluate and resolve billing complaints effectively.Conduct daily investigations into payment discrepancies, including underpayments, credits, and claims.Process credits or replacements based on document analysis, adhering to established credit limits.Perform thorough research on claims.Manage and oversee designated accounts within your portfolio.Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.Essential Skills1+ years of accounts receivable or collections experience.Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables.Experience with vendor invoice interactions.Strong customer service orientation.Effective problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsEducation: DiplomaExperience in debt collection and journal entry.Familiarity with billing collections.Work Environment

Join a team of around 25-30 individuals within the Accounts Receivable department. Benefit from a supportive manager with extensive experience and a commitment to team success. Enjoy a flexible work environment with four remote working days, requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays and during initial training weeks. The team is based in Menomonee Falls, with access to the accounting and finance departments. Utilize systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX (transitioning to Oracle) and Get Paid for efficient workflow management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
