Description
General:
Team and individual contributor for day-to-day, monthly, quarterly, and year-end operations of Accounts Receivable (“A/R”)Provides support and back-up to Accounts Payable tasks. As neededAids in cash management reportingAssists in monthly close activities as directed by the CFOPerforms general accounts analysis and reconciliations for A/RAssists in the preparation of financial reportsPrepares reports and documentation in support of internal and external auditsSupport of internal and external customer inquiriesCoordinate project-specific systems connected with A/R workCompile statistical and financial accounting reports and tablesPerform filing and general administrative tasks within the departmentAssist in the formulation, analysis, and execution of new accounting procedures and processesCreate, organize, and maintain all customer files.Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by CFOAccounts Receivable:
Process customer invoices and milestone paymentsProcess and post all received payments from customers per processesReconcile customer accounts to ensure correct payment applicationProvide preliminary customer lien waivers (PLNs)Coordinate obtaining and documenting Certificates of Insurance (COIs)Monitor customer accounts for overdue paymentsContact customers (by phone and email) to follow up on past-due paymentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer and accounts receivable recordsPrepare and submit regular reports, such as AR aging reports, to managementDocument all collection activities and client communications thoroughlyRespond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments and account issuesInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, billing errors and payment disputes, working with other team members to resolve client issuesFoster positive relationships with customers, even while management collectionsCommunicate with internal teams regarding past due accounts and account holdsSkills

Required:
5-7 years work experience in an A/R Specialist capacity, Bachelor’s degree preferredERP Accounting system experience requiredStrong MS Office skills – MUST be intermediate in MS ExcelExcellent written/oral communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently, as well as with a team, to prioritize tasksStrong organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines accurately and consistently in a fast-paced and dynamic work environmentAbility to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
