**Position Overview**
We are seeking a **Temporary Collections and Reconciliation Specialist** to support a collections project within a fast-paced, professional office environment. This role involves extensive communication with customers via telephone—including conference calls—to resolve unpaid accounts and assist with financial reconciliation tasks.
Shift: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Pay: 18.25/hr
Weekly Pay!
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Communicate professionally with customers via phone and conference calls to resolve unpaid accounts.
+ Perform daily account reconciliations and correct payment issues, including problem checks and proofing errors.
+ Make bank deposits and contact shippers regarding unprocessable checks.
+ Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, manage, and report on collections and reconciliation efforts.
+ Handle incoming and outgoing mail, perform data entry, and complete various administrative tasks such as typing and processing forms.
**Requirements**
+ Proven experience in customer communication and collections (phone-based).
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
+ Professional demeanor with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, on-site.
+ Willingness to undergo a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with financial reconciliation or banking-related tasks.
+ Familiarity with check processing and related documentation.
