Job Description
Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable team, supporting and growing team members through regular individual and group check-ins. Provide assistance in resolving complex issues encountered by staff and track workload distribution across the team. Deliver training on updated procedures and ensure best practices are documented. Participate in recruitment and separation decisions and manage approval workflows across internal departments.
Responsibilities
+ Configure and monitor activity levels and approval settings.
+ Review and validate new vendor onboarding processes.
+ Address escalated concerns from vendors and internal teams.
+ Foster strong relationships with suppliers and maintain effective communication with internal business units.
+ Coordinate and oversee month-end closing tasks.
+ Supervise and execute weekly disbursement processes.
+ Develop and enforce policy standards and maintain procedural documentation.
+ Support Treasury with forecasting cash flow needs.
+ Administer the employee expense reimbursement process.
+ Contribute to the annual external audit preparation.
+ Oversee and assist with annual 1099 reporting.
+ Manage state reporting for unclaimed property.
Qualifications
+ 5+ years of accounts payable experience.
+ 2+ years in a leadership role such as supervisor, manager, or lead.
+ Proficiency in accounts payable, invoice processing, purchase orders, and Oracle management.
+ Experience in the manufacturing industry.
+ Oracle experience is preferred.
Work Environment
The role requires being in the office 5 days a week, with significant flexibility as needed. The office environment is welcoming, with all team members sitting in one area. It features a great cafeteria known for its food, and the office has a large 'campus style' that encourages team camaraderie, with opportunities for walks throughout the day.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
