Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial records. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for maintaining efficient financial operations. Responsibilities: • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner to ensure proper expense coding and payment. • Conduct regular check runs to manage outgoing payments to vendors and other entities. • Verify and code invoices to align with company standards and financial protocols. • Maintain thorough and organized records of accounts payable transactions for auditing and reporting purposes. • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to payments. • Prepare payment batches and ensure compliance with organizational policies. • Monitor vendor accounts and address any overdue balances or payment concerns. • Assist in month-end close processes by providing accounts payable reports and reconciliations. • Communicate with vendors to address billing inquiries or disputes. • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounts payable processes. Requirements • 2 + years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in coding invoices and processing payments. • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions. • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
