Description Join a dynamic, growing company in Baton Rouge seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support increased business demand. Responsibilities: + Process and code a high volume of invoices accurately and timely. + Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval. + Match purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and handle vendor inquiries. + Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers). + Maintain accurate AP files and records. + Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close processes. + Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and provide support across the AP function. Requirements Qualifications: + Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. + 2+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365 is a plus. + Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
