Accounts Payable Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities Process invoices in SAP (MIRO/MIRA) in compliance with fiscal and accounting standards. Validate invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts (3-way match). Ensure fiscal compliance of documents (PDF/XML) prior to posting. Manage parked invoices and follow up on their release through workflow. Coordinate with internal users to resolve discrepancies and release pending invoices. Analyze and clear GR/IR accounts, identifying discrepancies and making necessary adjustments. Support monthly closing by ensuring timely invoice posting and account reconciliation (GR/IR) Assist internal and external auditors by providing documentation and explanations. Ensure compliance with internal policies and fiscal regulations. Participate in automation, digitization, and financial process improvement initiatives. Collaborate in integration efforts with supplier portals and OCR/ICR tools. Propose enhancements to approval workflows and invoice processing efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the accounts payable area. Support implementation of new SAP functionalities. Document and maintain standard operating procedures. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new developments or SAP changes. Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in invoice processing and SAP usage. Solid knowledge of GR/IR, MIRO, approval workflow, and fiscal validation. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and follow-through. Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines. Ability to collaborate across departments and adapt to changing priorities. Preferred: experience in automation projects, KPI management, and OCR/ICR tools.
