Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable
Ability to process 300+ invoices weekly
Experience with 3-way matching and working with PO's
Experience with mid-large ERP systems
Experience with intermediate Excel functions (pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
Job Description:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining organized financial records, and supporting the broader accounting team. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include:
Three years of exposure with a full cycle AP deskReview invoices for appropriate GL coding and proof of product / service delivery at various office locations, sales tax charged, credit memos and weekly check runsPO matching experience a mustPrioritize payment of invoices based on vendor termsMonitor electronic inbox for invoicesProcess Monthly Expense ReportsDetermining GL codes from Chart of AccountsReconcile monthly Vendor StatementsHigh volume invoices up to 1500 monthlyExcellent written and verbal communications skillsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
