In this role, you will be responsible for processing, tracking, and recording payments accurately and efficiently. You will play a crucial part in maintaining financial transactions, ensuring they are on track, on time, and in good standing with our valued partners. Your experience with Deltek and ADP will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures.Manage all phases of accounts payable processing, including vendor file maintenance, invoice, and accounts payable records management.Verify documents and codes, process payments, and review expense reimbursements.Support routine activities such as opening and scanning AP mail/invoices for the Accounting Department.Issue and maintain corporate cards for Procurement and Travel.Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents.Prepare bills and invoices for payment and checks for signature.Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks as needed.Maintain vendor files and communicate the status of payments as required.Prepare and maintain payroll records, deductions, and withholding reports.Identify, investigate, and follow up on billing discrepancies.Enter data into the accounting system and prepare reports.Essential Skills
Proficiency in accounts payable, invoice processing, vendor invoices, payment process, billing, reimbursement.Experience with Deltek and ADP, including Deltek CostPoint.AP mailbox management.3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Invoicing.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and month-end processes.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting is a plus.Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.Strong data entry skills.Familiarity with accounting and bookkeeping procedures.Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of 3 days a week at the office in Reston. The role reports to the Accounting Manager. The office environment supports a collaborative and mission-driven culture.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
