The role is a newly created position as they are looking to expand their accounting and finance team. Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will enhance profitability and drive consistency within the accounts payable department. Through your daily activities, you will manage accurate and timely accounts payable processes, including handling purchase orders and invoices. Effective communication is crucial as you will engage in cross-functional collaborative activities.

Responsibilities

Partner with the financial team to code and enter approximately 900 vendor invoices.Handle accounts payable issues related to vendor communications regarding payments and invoice history.Understand the purchase order systems and their relationship to accounts payable.Investigate open purchase orders and follow up as needed.
