Job Description
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and maintaining precise financial records. This role involves collaborating with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.
ResponsibilitiesReview and process vendor invoices for payment.Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to ensure accuracy and prevent overpayments.Resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders or receiving documents.Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment issues.Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.Assist with month-end closing and reporting.Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.Essential SkillsExperience in accounts payable.Proficiency in invoice processing and three-way matching.Strong understanding of purchase orders and payment processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in accounts receivable is a plus.Work EnvironmentThis position requires working on-site five days a week.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
