Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be part of the finance department supporting the overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Accounts Payable Specialist - 3-month contract
**Location:** Fort Worth, TX
**Pay Range: $19-$20**
**Shift:** Monday to Friday/8 AM - 5 PM,
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform data entry and uploads of purchases, credit card receipts, and vendor invoices into the accounting system daily.
+ Manage accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of vendor bills.
+ Create and maintain vendor contracts, W-9s, and documentation.
+ Assist with the preparation and submission of grant billings and maintain confidential records.
+ Communicate directly with staff to ensure the submission of bills, receipts, and payables.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma; higher education or certification in accounts payable preferred.
+ Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable.
+ Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create complex functions/formulas.
+ Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
+ Experience with ERP accounting systems, preferably Sage Intacct.
