Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob Description As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing vendor and subcontractor invoices efficiently, maintaining accurate records, and managing financial transactions. You will also reconcile statements, prepare sales and use tax reports, and monitor open payables to ensure timely approval. Essential Skills + Proficiency in accounts payable processes. + Experience with sales and use tax. + Familiarity with subcontractor billing. + Competency in 10-key data entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 4+ years of accounts payable experience. + Experience in the construction, electrical, or trades industry. + Familiarity with COINS (ERP) is advantageous. Work Environment Join a dynamic team of three in accounts payable, with the intention of expanding to a fourth member. The team operates within a fun and growth-oriented environment under the leadership of a supportive CFO. You will work on COINS, an ERP specific to the construction industry. While the system has a learning curve, training is provided. The company is a multi-trades contractor primarily operating in Minnesota. Initially, the role requires five days a week at the office, transitioning to one work-from-home day once trained. The team typically starts early, around 7 am. This position offers a chance to grow and develop within a company that is experiencing rapid expansion, having doubled its field employees in the past year and expecting to exceed $250M in revenue this year. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $33.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
